Kindergarten Celebration

Yesterday we celebrated a successful year of kindergarten.

There were smiles all around as the kids sang special kindergarten songs and performed The Little Red Hen for a room full of proud families. Oh, and there were a few tears too. Just a few.

Hugs and high fives were given to friends, along with promises to make "your mom call my mom for a play date."

So much has been learned this year, so much accomplished. Mastering reading and learning basic math skills, along with lessons on cooperation and teamwork. Songs were sung, field trips taken and lots of other adventures were had along the way.

It's been a good year. (Sniff)

We're already looking forward to the fun adventures that await us in first home. We plan on homeschooling this year. (Sniff and stifle a scream as well, it's a bit overwhelming.)

We will never stop learning.
