Christmas Tour of Homes

What fun, the Nester is hosting a Christmas Tour of homes!
Welcome to my home! You’ll be greeted at the front door by this wreath, but don’t stop there….come on in!
I love to search thrift stores for new nativities every year, this was a recent find. I’m in love with it’s imperfect handmadeness. (I know that’s not a word, but you know what I mean.)
Our Christmas Tree, imperfectly beautiful.
Our new kitchen table is a thrift store find, look how it matches our green wall! I love it, hate the chairs that came with it (not pictured). Makeover coming soon!
A vital reminder in the kitchen, next to our monthly menu.
And if you wander upstairs this is what you’ll find, our kid’s tree-decorated and repeatedly knocked over them. They love it!

Thanks for joining me! And be sure to check out everyone’s else’s homes over at The Nester’s Christmas Tour of Homes!

  10. I read your earlier post about using what you already have and making it work - you certainly did, and it's lovely. Hope you create some great memories this Christmas.

  11. Hi, Gina, loved your post that Kimba linked too. I've been collecting things for many years, so while it may look like I'm over the top with Christmas decorating & love it a lot, I still like to slow down and remember the real reason we celebrate this time of year. That's SO important. I enjoy celebrating with having a few friends over to enjoy the season and Christmas cheer.

I love your simple Christmas. I too grew up with a mom who did very simple and kitchy things, nothing really elaborate and I have wonderful Christmas memories from that. YOur front door wreath is really pretty!

Hope you'll stop by sometime. Merry Christmas!

  12. what a lovely home you have, like the scripture on your blackboard and the idea of a montly menu!

  13. Gina, I love your home, your nativity & the picture of you. Not in a superficial way, but I recognize deep things in you & your loves. Happy Christmas!

  14. Great tour! I love your green table, I am drooling over it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, by the way! : )

  15. Beautiful home! Love all your decorations.
