Christmas Tour of Homes

What fun, the Nester is hosting a Christmas Tour of homes!
Welcome to my home! You’ll be greeted at the front door by this wreath, but don’t stop there….come on in!

I love to search thrift stores for new nativities every year, this was a recent find. I’m in love with it’s imperfect handmadeness. (I know that’s not a word, but you know what I mean.)

Our new kitchen table is a thrift store find, look how it matches our green wall! I love it, hate the chairs that came with it (not pictured). Makeover coming soon!

A vital reminder in the kitchen, next to our monthly menu.

And if you wander upstairs this is what you’ll find, our kid’s tree-decorated and repeatedly knocked over them. They love it!

  1. Your home looks beautiful and very festive! I love your nativity, too. I bought one this year almost identical, only painted in different colors. I blogged about it, too:)

    Merry Christmas!

  10. I read your earlier post about using what you already have and making it work - you certainly did, and it's lovely. Hope you create some great memories this Christmas.

  11. Hi, Gina, loved your post that Kimba linked too. I've been collecting things for many years, so while it may look like I'm over the top with Christmas decorating & love it a lot, I still like to slow down and remember the real reason we celebrate this time of year. That's SO important. I enjoy celebrating with having a few friends over to enjoy the season and Christmas cheer.

I love your simple Christmas. I too grew up with a mom who did very simple and kitchy things, nothing really elaborate and I have wonderful Christmas memories from that. YOur front door wreath is really pretty!

Hope you'll stop by sometime. Merry Christmas!
