Slowing Down at Christmastime

This past week we’ve been dressing up for Christmas parties.
We’ve also been adding the final touches to all the decorations.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to set the table, and making fudge with no success.  I’m making lists and trying to remember all the last minute things, like finishing the wrapping and baking.

The kids have been uncovering the magic every morning in our advent box.
And we are all slowing down, taking time to savor the season and reflect on it’s deep meaning.
Christ came to earth, in that meeting of heaven and earth everything was changed.
May you find peace and joy this Christmas, and in the coming New Year.

  1. I LOVE this post! God uses you to inspire me to slow down and savor the little things in Christmas. I love that you don't strive for perfection in what you do, but instead you take the time to enjoy your kids and enjoy the True Meaning of Christmas. And you do it in such an adorable and creative way. I love Christmas too! Merry Christmas!

I love to hear from you! Thanks for coming by and sharing your thoughts with me.
