Not to be confused with our regular house, the Christmas House is our house-just Christmas-fied.
I figure that because I like to at other houses all prettied up, you must like to too. To help you out, I'll keep the words at a minimum and the pictures at a maximum. You're welcome.
Come right on in, straight into the living/family/everything room. This is where we land most of the time.
I made the yarn puff wreath with lots of patience and more yarn than I thought I'd ever use for one project. But I'm in love with how it turned out.
I like to keep things simple-so I use lots of ornaments and natural greens, mixed in with treasures I already have.
We Christmas tree hunt every year, and I think we found the best spot ever. We've had amazing trees for the last three years now. Not too full, not too much sap-just right. And there's nothing like the experience of hunting for the perfect symbol of our family Christmas. Also, we've never forgotten our saw.
The barrel chairs. Oh my, I love these treasures from Zac's grandma's home. They are used daily this time of year to cozy up to fire.
And in the kitchen I simply add red and deer and more greens.
Simple is often better, right?
I did find that I really needed a disco ball. Because every kitchen needs a bit of bling. Of course.
Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out The Nester for lots more home tours.
